Located about 18 kilometers south of Modena, Castelvetro di Modena is a charming medieval village nestled in the gentle hills of Emilia. Characterized by towers, bell towers, and cobbled streets, the village offers breathtaking views of vineyards and rural landscapes. Recognized as the "City of Wine" since 1994 and awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club in 2003, Castelvetro is famous for the production of Lambrusco Grasparossa and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. The historic center houses buildings of great historical and artistic value, such as Palazzo Rangoni and the Parish Church in neo-Gothic style. The village also hosts numerous cultural and food and wine events that celebrate local traditions.
