The Macchia Grande forest impresses not only for its size but also for the grandeur of its trees, mainly represented by turkey oaks.
As the green lung of the region, the forest is open to everyone throughout the year, ideal for spending time outdoors and taking relaxing walks away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The green area is managed by the local Agricultural University.
